The pictures in this gallery cover the lines of the railways of Thessaly, the metre gauge line from Volos to Kalampaka and the 60cm gauge Pelion Railway, also from Volos. The original metre gauge line from Larissa to Volos had already been converted to standard gauge by the time any of these pictures were taken, so this is included in the gallery covering OSE standard gauge routes. One interesting effect of this conversion was a length of triple gauge from Volos station along Dimitriados Street through the city centre to Vlahava where both Larissa & Kalampaka trains started or terminated. Along which the Pelion line trains also ran on their way to or from Milee. The final shot is of the disused locomotives at Volos Brickworks, both of which were later saved, with the brickworks site itself becoming an Industrial Heritage Museum.
