Although the Czech Republic & Slovakia became separate states from the beginning of 1993, a majority of pictures in this section relate to the ČSD era so it is simpler to deal with the combined railway network whenever the photographs were taken.

Class 454 4-8-4T number 464.058 stands in Prague Tešnov station with a local passenger working on 6/6/1967. The station was closed and demolished in 1972 to make way for a new road. Photo Dave Gouldthorp
