There is relastively little railway infrastructure in Ningxia and the only section of CNR that we cover here is on the Bao-Lan line west of Zhongwei, particularly into the hills above Menjiawan as shown above. This area was also a good example of rapid railway development in China as the line was single track during visits in 1991 & 1992, double track by 1994 with visits ceasing by 1995 due to electrification.
Also included here are a few shots on the 75km long Daba - Guyaozi local railway which served two mines. a power station and a petrochemical plant.
