The Achenseebahn is a 4 mile long partially rack operated railway that climbs northwards out of the Inn valley at Jenbach up to a pier on the shore of the Seespitz. The trains are propelled up the largely rack assisted section from Jenbach to Eben where the locomotive runs round to pull her train the remainder of the way to the lakeshore.
