World Railways Photograph Catalogue - Restoration & Archiving Trust

The four galleries that are currently set up cover the 3 old Great Western lines that made up the Cheltenham to Stratford route, plus the Oxford, Worcester & Wolverhampton section that crossed over it at Honeybourne. The latter acquired the less than flattering nickname 'The Old Worse & Worse' early in its existence.


gwr2075 Although the line through Toddington was built long after the broad gauge era, the Cheltenham Branch was broad gauge for the first 25 years of its life & would have seen engines such as Rover class 4-2-2 'Emporer' depicted here
